Hey, Im Cody - a wedding filmmaker who’s been capturing emotive and elegant wedding films for over six years now. (It still blows my mind that I get to call this my job)
I grew up filming fun skits and shorts with my friends on our old VHS cameras, but my passion for videography truly started during a work trip overseas to Australia. I found myself immersed in the culture and documented my six-month adventure. I literally took my camera with me everywhere. The experience transformed my passion for creating travel films on Youtube, into something even more meaningful - capturing the unique love stories of couples on their wedding day.
I believe that every love story is distinct and deserves to be told in it’s own unique way. Through my artistic and technical expertise, I creative captivating wedding films that transport you back to your wedding day.
FUN FACTS
I was born in Illinois and moved to Florida in 2014. I studied Music & Entertainment Business in college, and upon graduating I took an international job and produced Music Festivals and large-scale events in Australia, London and across the U.S.. I’m a dog dad to a German Shepherd and Husky. I love to travel, outside of filmmaking it’s what makes me feel the most alive. Some of my favorite places I have visited are Kauai, Ibiza, Amalfi Coast, Australia, and Scotland. I love filming and photographing with really old cameras. I have a variety of Super 8 cameras, old film photo cameras, and an old VHS camera I’ve named the ‘dad-cam’ that I bring to every wedding. I truly love what I do, the couples I get to meet and film in the places it takes me. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
